Who Is LCEC?

Laikipia Community Empowerment Center (LCEC) is a registered, not for profit, non-partisan, professional organization dedicated to alleviate poverty through sustainable development among rural communities in Kenya through proactive, creative and trans-formative processes in development. LCEC serves in the; Samburu, Baringo, East Pokot and Laikipia regions with its local office in Sipili trading center.

LCEC implements four key programs; education, environmental conservation, public health and economic empowerment - the foundation of a thriving society. In collaboration with local and international partners, LCEC fosters sustainable results through practical approaches to social and economic challenges.

To empower grassroots communities  through access to education and  health-care, participation in economic development ventures and involvement in environmental conservation programs.
